DANTE: PATIO REFLECTIONS, PART II

As advertised, the following is Part II of Dante's Patio Reflections.  You can see what's about to happen by gazing into his eyes.

He is reflecting deeply upon the nap he is about to take.  It doesn't get any deeper than that.

DANTE BY THE "SHORE"

By the 'Jim Shore' birdbath, that is!  This birdbath has representations of three cats balancing a basin on their heads with two birds drinking from it.  It is one of my most prized PUSSessions and is central to my cat theme in the garden every year.

 "Mama 'shore' is proud of dis fing!" remarks Dante.

"She uses da birdbath ta 'shore' up her gardin."

"All's I kin say is it 'shore' is an I-catcher!" says Dante who is also PURRsonally attached to it for more reasons than one.

As far as he's concerned it's all about the birds!

DANTE: PATIO REFLECTIONS PART I

My friend, Susan, took these pictures of Dante while he was relaxing on the front patio.  He appears to be very pensive indeed.  Perhaps he was even reflecting upon the patio while lying upon it.

For some reason cats in general seem to like to roll around and lie on patio stones.  I can't say I've ever wanted to try it, but if you're a cat, like Dante, it obviously holds some allure.

He's such a deep thinker!
