This is Dante in the front yard in July 2010.

He's wearing his bright orange shirt with black stripes and 'trim'.

"Fanks fur sayin' dat Mama.  I feels very trim wen I'm in it."

Yes Dante, it's quite slimming indeed.

But then, so is his kilt!

Here's Dante in the summer of 2010.

He was out on the front patio wearing his tiger shirt for a photoshoot and he stopped to pose beside the green garden cat.  I thought it was a rather interesting juxtaposition and the red shirt and the red flowers were also quite pleasing to my eye ...

... as well as to the 'eye of the tiger' which Dante wore on his back.

Dante was a beautiful cat but he could also be super cute.

Don't you just want to pick him up and cuddle him?

But one should always be mindful that inside every kitty, there still exists ...

... the heart of a wild cat!

Dante's in the front garden in July 2014.

He and the garden cat have both spotted something of supreme interest.

Why, it's summer, of course!
Nothing could 'bee' more interesting that that.

From July of 2013, here is Dante for all intents and PURRposes.

Yes indeed, when Dante had his mind fixed on something he was always very 'intense'.

His attention never strayed from his PURRpose -- whatever is was at the time.

And in this case, his PURRpose was twofold!

These are pictures of Dante in the back yard in July 2015.

Dante is nestled beside his fafurite tree.  He and the tree were besties in, what I call, "the outback".

"Dis furiendship is TREEmendously rewardin'!" Dante was heard to say.

"Is so much fun jus' hangin' around togethah."

These are some pictures taken of Dante on the front patio in July 2016.  They are, in sum, what I call "Patio Reflections" because Dante seems to be deep in reflection.

Then again, purrhaps he was just rather sleepy!

In these pictures from July 2014, Dante has gone inCATnito in the garden.

He is so integrated, that he has actually become part of it ...

... until you go underneath to get a glimpse into his cloistered world.
Then you can see the true Dante -- a cat who is as beautiful as his surroundings.

He was truly heaven-scent!

This is another one of my favourite pictures of Dante, this one from June 2013.  I used this in Dante's calendar for the following year.

Looking at this now, it really seems like Dante had his own piece of heaven.

I like to think he still does.

Here's one of Dante's hatted pictures; this one from June last year.  Generally, he saved his hat photos for the 3-D cat blog along with his brother and sister, but methinks we will now share some of them on this one.

Dante always looked marvelous in just about any hat, but this brown straw fedora with teal band and trim seems to especially suit him.  And his white floral bowtie "ties" in just purrfectly, don't you think?  Also, being the timely gentlemancat that he was, he is sporting a gold and dark teal Ulysse Nardin watch.  Obviously he was a mancat of suPURRb taste in addition to all of his other fabulous qualities!

He is posing with a plant pot shaped like a cat's head (planted with begonias), and embellished only the way 'Jim Shore' (its creator) could do.  Dante is emulating the plant pot by holding some begonias, too.  He's pretty nicely embellished himself.

Hat's off to Dante forevermore!

Who needs a hat when you can wear a crown?

These pictures were taken one year ago in June.

As usual, Dante was lying in among his beloved weigela bushes.
He was obviously in a state of wonder.

Wondering what he could catch for a quick snack, that is!

"Go fish!" said Dante.

This picture was taken in late June of 2010.  There was nowhere Dante liked to be more than in the cool grass under the shade of a tree.

In this photo, there was a plant pot of flowers almost immediately in front of him and I managed to capture the colour of those flowers and their leaves as a charming introduction to Dante's beautiful face.  It gives the picture a vivid glow.

Dante is still basking in his after-glow
 and always will!
