THURSDAY IN THE GARDEN WITH DANTE: TOUR DE FURCE!

Today Dante is doing an entire tour of the front garden so you can see how all of the bushes and potted plants have matured over the summer.  There's really nothing new -- just some shots from different angles of our own little secluded PURRadise.

Dante starts off on the walkway nearest the front door.  You can see how the pink impatience are now overflowing in their pots.  The hot and humid weather, combined with intermittent rainstorms have made them lush and healthy.

Although Dante loves orange, he does think pink is quite pretty, too.

Here, Dante takes his place amongst some of the garden ornaments.  Of course he is the greatest garden ornament of all.

This is a wider shot from the front porch.  Dante is watching for introoders on the approach.

And here they are!  They're not really introoders after all -- it's Domino and Dylan joining Dante in a rare 3-D combo shot in the garden!!!  This angle provides a view from the garden bench where Domino is happily purrched.  She just loves sitting next to her mama.

After a short break, Dante continues his tour on the opposite side of the garden.  This is one of his favourite spots to lounge.  It's actually our neighbour's garden, but Dante treats it as his own.

"Dis is a purrfect spot to watch da whole gardin all at wunce!", says Dante, as he pats the ground beside him.

"An' I fink I has finally taut dose dubble impatience to bees moar patient!  Dey's shur not in a hurry to go anyware.  Dey jus' stays put an' smiles."

Uh-oh!  Dante's attention is diverted by something happening on the street.

And then he notices that it's his Daddy coming up the walk!

"Daddy says is time to go inside, so I wets him pick me up -- an' I didunt efun stwuggle!  Daddy says I'mma GOOD BOY!"

So, Dante's right back where it all started.  And he and his Daddy go gently into the light (aka oFURexposed picture).

This Tour de FURce is over.  Until next time ...

Great pictures - seeing Dante with his Dad I realised how big and floofy he is. Your garden is beautiful.

Your garden looks lovely, although I must say that Dante, Dylan and Domino would enhance any space!

I'm really not around right now, with my Dad's visit, but HAD to comment...This is the first time I've seen Dante being held by someone and holy cr*p, he is HUGE. You really don't get a proper perspective until you see him in his dad's arms. Wow!!!!
