About Me

- I am currently retired after working for the Canadian Federal Government for 20 years, and then with Oracle Corporation as an applications consultant for several years after that. Since I have retired, my primary occupation is taking pictures of my three cats: Dante, a 7-year old male Maine Coon Classic Red Tabby who weighs in at around 22 lbs., Dylan, an almost 5-year old male short-haired cream tabby who weighs about 14 lbs., and Domino, my little tuxy girl, who is 8 years old, only about 6 lbs. and is the boss (or dominatrix as I affectionately call her). I prefer to take pictures of my feline subjects in natural light, and I sit out in all four seasons (weather permitting), so that I have shots of them in Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. The changing seasons make a good backdrop for the natural beauty of the feline being. My cats are an endless source of admiration and fascination.

OK seriously, I have had various photos of my own cats as my screensaver at work from time to time, but NONE of them have garnered the interest that Dante has. First with him sitting in the snow (from another post) and now with this image. EVERYONE here at the office (and I do mean everyone) asks me if Dante is my cat. No questions about any of my other cats on my screen savers.. they all love Dante..
If he ever wants to come to Maine, he is more then welcome :)
