Yesterday I had one of my best photoshoots ever.  Usually I am lucky to get one stellar picture in a batch, but in this case I had a quite a few; five of which are shown hereunder.

It was mid-afternoon and the sun was bright, but couldn't penetrate the shadows left by the trees overhead.  Dante decided to make a nest in a pile of leaves directly in the pool of light -- to great effect.

Dante and nature conspired to provide me with a remarkable opportunity for some unparalleled shots.

It's easy to fall for Dante any time of year, but most of all in fall when all that surrounds him serves to accentuate his vibrant and bountiful coat.
