NOT SO EASY SUNDAY WITH DANTE!

It's Sunday and Dante is definitely not at ease. In fact, he's on high alert! You can see the focus in his eye as he peeks around the tree. His pupil dilates widely as he spies the object of his desire.
(Biggify for maximum exposure to the eye of the hunter.)

And then it was gone! Look at the difference in his eyes in this second picture. The killer stare has completely evaporated.

Dante has reacquired his target.

He's beginning to hunker down.

Now he's fully hunkered (and what a hunker, hunker he is, too!). And the killer look is back in force.

This is a very short video that reveals the thrill of the chase. But alas, not the capture.

OK, Dante! Stand down and at ease. It's Sunday after all, and both you and that squirrel deserve a rest. This neverending story will repeat itself tomorrow, and the day after that, and that day after that ...

Love how the squirrel stops and eats just out of Dante's reach. Squirrels are so funny!

I just love...L.O.V.E. that photo of you Dante...half behind the tree, focused on the evil squirrel! Your squirrels are much darker than ours. Our evil squirrels are much lighter brown.

Dante, you are such a GORGEOUS ManCat!!! And, your furs are getting floofier for the winter! WOW, that's some mane you got goin' on. And, a black squirrel?!? Adorable! He seems a like a little freshie since after you chased him he just decided to sit and eat right in front of you, knowing you can't get to him! What a brat!

Wow I cannot believe how floofy you get - seriously you look so much bigger it is amazing. I wish you were nearby - I would love to see how it feels to pet that much fur! Your mom is so lucky!

And as usual you were a nice guy and let that evil squirrel get away - we know you could have gotten it if you wanted to!
