Although he thinks it's nice enough, he's not enamoured of it like he is with the deep pink variety.
It still provides a great backdrop for him, even though most of the petals have fallen. Sheer perfection for a watercolour painting of the great beast!
And Dante also makes a fabulous foil for the giant hosta behind him!
His attention is firmly focussed elsewhere so he doesn't mind us coming so up-close and PURRsonal.
