DANTE: MY MANE MAN

Here's Dante in the late summer of 2009.

You might say Dante's in full flower as much as the ones beside him.  His mane at this time of year is as fabulous as it gets.

It's not fur nothin' that I used to call him "My Mane Man"!

DANTE PREPARED

From August 2014, here's Dante in the front garden.

Dante has planted himself by his favourite weigela bushes which are in their second bloom at this time of year.

And August is the time when Dante typically floofed up to the max in preparation for the winter months.  He always like to be prepared well in advance --  like the good boy scout he was.

"Just in case yoo finds yoorself in the middle of snowhere"  he would say.

DANTE: THE POWER OF PINK

In these pictures from August 2010, Dante was definitely in the 'pink'.

 He never felt better than when he was outdoors in his garden.

And it was a purrfect foil for a creature of his august stature.

These are pictures of Dante in August 2010.  He is standing underneath the tree in the front yard with the light filtering through the leaves overhead.

There's a definite aura about him.
