DANTE'S GARDEN PURRADISE

This is another one of my favourite pictures of Dante, this one from June 2013.  I used this in Dante's calendar for the following year.

Looking at this now, it really seems like Dante had his own piece of heaven.

I like to think he still does.

DANTE PLANTED!

Here's one of Dante's hatted pictures; this one from June last year.  Generally, he saved his hat photos for the 3-D cat blog along with his brother and sister, but methinks we will now share some of them on this one.

Dante always looked marvelous in just about any hat, but this brown straw fedora with teal band and trim seems to especially suit him.  And his white floral bowtie "ties" in just purrfectly, don't you think?  Also, being the timely gentlemancat that he was, he is sporting a gold and dark teal Ulysse Nardin watch.  Obviously he was a mancat of suPURRb taste in addition to all of his other fabulous qualities!

He is posing with a plant pot shaped like a cat's head (planted with begonias), and embellished only the way 'Jim Shore' (its creator) could do.  Dante is emulating the plant pot by holding some begonias, too.  He's pretty nicely embellished himself.

Hat's off to Dante forevermore!

Who needs a hat when you can wear a crown?

DANTE THE WONDERER!

These pictures were taken one year ago in June.

As usual, Dante was lying in among his beloved weigela bushes.
He was obviously in a state of wonder.

Wondering what he could catch for a quick snack, that is!

"Go fish!" said Dante.

A GLOWING TRIBUTE TO DANTE

This picture was taken in late June of 2010.  There was nowhere Dante liked to be more than in the cool grass under the shade of a tree.

In this photo, there was a plant pot of flowers almost immediately in front of him and I managed to capture the colour of those flowers and their leaves as a charming introduction to Dante's beautiful face.  It gives the picture a vivid glow.

Dante is still basking in his after-glow
 and always will!

DANTE: LION AT HEART

Here's Dante in the jungle which was our next door neighbour's front yard circa 2010.

Like any lion, he is comfortable in this habitat ...

... even though there are those who might think it's a stretch!

DANTE MAN'S UP!

Like his sisfur Domino and brofur Dylan, Dante was something of a mad hatter!

Here he is one year ago in June wearing an ivory and pink floral flatcap.  He paired this with a dusty rose bowtie dotted with white flowers, and a silver Rolex watch with pink mother-of-pearl face.

Dante was very secure in his masculinity, so he could sport any colour and still look like the powerful mancat that he was.  Being a mancat is all about CATitude after all!

Dante always loved being in the garden, especially when the weigela bushes were in full bloom. There was something about their scent that intoxicated him.  And if he hunkered down beside the birdbath, he never knew what juicy bite might land within his PURRview.

Anything is pawsible and sometimes you just get lucky wherever you may be!

DANTE: LOVING 'HUE' MORE THAN EVER

Here is an idealized photo of Dante from June 2015.

I heightened the colours to go with the brightness of the surrounding frame.  It's how I like to think of him -- in a beautiful sunlit garden with butterflies galore, furevermore!

Only on the Rainbow Bridge are colours quite this vibrant, including the hue of Dante's coat.

DANTE COMPELLED

This is Dante in amongst the weigelas in June of 2014.

There was something about the scent of the blossoms that attracted him.  They were almost like catnip as far as he was concerned. He didn't find any other flower or bush quite as compelling.

The garden was his favourite place on earth ...

... and now it's just a little higher!

DANTE: "HOLD THAT TIGER"

Every domesticated cat has a wildcat in them.

However, for the most part they hold that tiger within.  Dante's wearing his on his back for all to see.

It's a bold reminder that one should never cross a cat -- lest that cat get cross!

DANTE: MATURE MAJESTY

This picture goes all the way back to 2007 when Dante was just being introduced to the blogging world.

He was still a young but fully mature Maine Coon cat.  Maine Coons take up to five years to reach their adult PAWtential.  And Dante certainly did that!  In fact he exceeded expectations.

Even then he was a picture of majesty!
