First of all, I want to announce the results of the Fashion Friday Vote.  The EmPURRor outfit won by a relative landslide, but here's how they all shook out.

THURSDAY IN THE GARDEN: DANTE INCATNITO

It's Thursday, and Dante is once again guarding the front garden.  Instead of patrolling out in the open, he has decided to check things out under cover -- or as Dante likes to call it "InCATnito" (incognito, as it purrtains to cats).  This way, any intruders will surely be caught off guard, and he'll have the upper paw.

"Wen I'm on dooty, I keeps mai eyes wide open!"

"Sumtimes I catmouflage maiself behine wun of the big pots."

"Sumtimes, I slips down low so as to go undetecktid."

"Here, I am tucking maiself in-between da big pots, so no wun kin see me."

"Well, efurrywun but mama, dat is!  She's hidin', too, behine da flowahs on da porch."

"Finally, wunce efurryfing is checked out an' da coast is cleer, I kin show you wot's new in mai garden."

"Kin you see anyfing diffurent?"

"Here dey are -- da SPYrea bushes is bloomin'!  Dey has bootiful pink flowahs  all summah long."

"O noes!  Despite all mai covert manoofurs, I missed dis introodah!"

"He's rite in dere behine da garden cats an' Kitty Buddha.  Kin you see who it is?"

"Yes, is jus' Dylan.  He wuz tryin' ta help by spyin' fru da spyreas."

"I gess I'm not da only wun who's inCATnito!  I has a whole family of spies!"

THURSDAY IN THE GARDEN WITH DANTE: FROM HERBS TO NUTS!

There's been quite a bit of rain lately, but Dante isn't going to let that stop him from his appointed rounds.

He's in the back yard today, showing you some of the latest.

Dante says "Mama putted some potted plants up heer on da deck".

"Dere are sum flowahs -- more of dose impatient ones an' sum PETunias -- and den dere's a big pot of gween fings, mama calls 'Herb'!"

"Itz funneh cuz 'Herb' smells bettah than da flowahs!"

"Den mama tole me dat 'Herb' ackshully has a bunch of diffurent names.  Dere's Sage, Wosemary, Savoury, Owegano and lotsa Time.  Dat last wun confuses me a liddle, cuz I didunt noes dat Time cud be put in a pot.  A bottle maibe, but not a pot!"

"Now, I shows you da bushes called 'Summersweet'.  Dere's two of dem.  Dey gets flowahs latah on in da summah, but I hasn't tasted dem yet, so I doan know if dey's reely sweet or not."

"Wot I doo noes is dat dis gwass is mitey tasty!"

"Heer I is, back on da patio.  My head gotted wet wen I was chompin' on da gwass."

"We got lotsa clovahs gwowin' in da gwass.  Daddy jus' cut da lawn, but it gwowed rite back wif all dis rain."

"Now I is back on da steps of da deck.  You kin see wun whole side of da yard frum heer.  An' to mai rite is anudder pot of dose impatience dat mama likes so much."

"Now I mus' purrform mai ornamental dooties an' pose wif da flowahs."

"An' it nevah fails!  I guess you noes by now wot I is seein'."

"Itz dat dastardly black demon ...

... cum ta dwive me NUTS!"
