MOTHER'S DAY WITH DANTE: ALL LICKERED UP!
Dante wanted to be spic and span for Mother's Day, so he even started a day ahead to make sure he would be clean enough.
Now I have a pristine pet with sparkling fur, and the only thing he's using that tongue for today is to give me kisses! And after you're kissed by that tongue, you'll never be the same. It cuts a rough, wide swath across your face and leaves a trail of something resembling razor burn. Dante is, after all, my hunka, hunka burning love!
The following series of pictures speaks for itself.
HAPPY MUDDER'S DAY EFURRYONE!
BIG KISSES AND MUCH LOVE,

THURSDAY IN THE GARDEN: DANTE JUST BLOSSOMS
Dante was sitting in the garden earlier this week when he noticed something distinctly different.
"Dere are white fings hanging off my tree!", exclaims Dante.
"Dey wasn't dere yesterday."
"Hmmm. Let me lie down and fink about dis for a minit."
"I remempurr now! Dese are the spring blossums dat open up on our crabappull tree efurry year in da springtime. Aren't dey bootifull?"
"Dey smell nice, too -- but wait ..."
"I sees an introoder in mai appull blossums."
"I fink he wants to steal my blossums an' take dem away."
"Maybe if I ignores him fur a minit, he'll come out in de open."
"Aha! Cot you in de act, you dirty liddle suckah -- I is warnin' you to stay away from mai appull blossums, or I'll hunt you down an' eat you!"
And with that, the sly rodent ran off so he could live to see another day.
Meanwhile ...
"Now I mus' purrform my udder Garden Cat dooties", says Dante.
"Dese dooties is purely ornamental, as you kin see."
"Dey built dis pedestal just fur me to modull on."
"So, here I am in wun of my furry best modullin' pawsitions."
"Even modulls has to take a rest now an' den. Boy, dat wind is really startin' to whip fings up -- incloodin' my furs!"
"O noes! Da wind has blowed most of da blossums off da tree!"
"And look who's come back to eat dem!"
Just as you start to blossom, someone or something usually tries to take you down. But, Spring will always come again. The most important thing is to enjoy the blossoms while they're still here, so you always have a little part of them with you (even the squirrel knows that!).

EASY, PEASY SUNDAY WITH DANTE
It's Sunday, and sunny. Dante is lounging out on the front walkway.
Isn't it strange how a cat can fall asleep just about anywhere at anytime?

GLAMOURPUSS SATURDAY WITH DANTE: HEADSHOTS
It's not only ladycats who can be glamourous, though we tend to think of glamour as their domain. There have been many glamourous men in the past like Rudolph Valentino, Clark Gable, Paul Newman and more recently George Clooney.
Dante has been called the "Robert Redfurrd" of his generation for obvious reasons. So without further ado, here are some of Dante's latest headshots, which he has signed for all his fans out there.

Dante doesn't mind having shots taken from all different angles, because every side is his best side!

THURSDAY IN THE GARDEN WITH DANTE
Thursday's come around again, and today we find Dante in the front garden. It may be small, but it still requires some care and protection.
Welcome to our front garden. It is mostly composed of flowering bushes, but the leaves are just starting to come out on them now.
We have to wait until the end of May or June before the flowers come out. In the meantime, I will sit here and make it look pretty. I am a good garden ornament after all.
Here I am lying down where mama will put all of her other cat ornaments. She has lots and lots of them. She calls this her "Cat Garden" once all of the dead cats are out. At least I think they're dead 'cause they don't move or anything.
Of course, to me, it is always a cat garden whenever I'm in it.
Speaking of being "in" it, here I am sniffing around under the spirea bushes (they gets pretty pink flowers later on).
I have detected the distinct scent of introoders! Dis stink is definitely theirs -- I'd know it anywhere.
I'd better stay right here to protect the garden from another invasion.
Hmmm. It's real comfy here in the garden bed. I'm getting kinda sleepy.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Suddenly ... what was that?
Aha! My arch nemeSIS (or maybe it's my arch nemeBRO -- I really can't tell). It's loud crunching woke me up, and good thing, too!
It dares to step foots in my garden again!
I lies here in wait for it -- it's coming closer. I can't move a muscle yet or it will know that I'm here.
Oh dang! It's escaping. Well, at least I got rid of it anyway. If I hadn't been here it would have danced all over the garden bed spreading it's noxious smell from one end to the other.
Now, let's see. Where was I before I was so rudely interrupted?
