DANTE, THE CLEAN MACHINE!

Dante is a very meticulous bather.  I find it quite interesting to watch.  He often gets his long fur (especially his copious chest fur) stuck in his mouth as he licks it.

He becomes quite engrossed in this mammoth task -- it takes a long time to wash efurrything.  So, I have just shown a small part of the bathing process for your possible enjoyment.

In the video which follows, I like the way, Dante keeps looking up -- rather startled, or sniffs the air from time to time, taking in the sights and smells of his surroundings, before resuming his dedicated task.

Dante, like my oven, is self-cleaning.  This world could use a whole lot more of that -- especially in the Gulf of Mexico!  Don't you think?

Pussycats are the model for clean living.  We would do well to follow their example.

We would think Dante would be prone to a lot of hair balls! Has he ever had a "haircut" during the summer?

Happy Friday and weekend to you all!

We aren't surprised Dante is such a bather - with all his floof it must be tough to keep in line - and he is always gorgeous so we know he must spend a lot of time on it! And we agree - self cleaning would be great for so many things!

Have a wonderful weekend!!

He gets so engrossed in his task that he has to make sure everything is OK before he resumes bathing! WE love seeing Dante in action!

Interesting question from Kim/Kea, although we can't imagine that gorgeous boy without his exquisite long, floofy furs...He is always a stunning sight to behold!...sending love and hugs sweet boy...Calle, Halle, Sukki

Our cat Marley is also very good at keeping himself clean. He grooms all of the time...so much so we have to give him the cat lax every 2 days to prevent hairballs...believe me I know what its like to have a cat that has a big hairball in the stomach...he ha to have surgery but died a couple of days later.

Make sure your kitty is poopin right.
