Since it's Thursday, Dante is out in the front garden making sure that there's nothing amiss.
"Not dat I wudn't mind a 'Miss' in mai life, yoo unnerstand -- but I cant negleck mai dooties!"
"Wun fing fur shur -- Dada needs ta do sum whipPURRsnippin'. Dis patio is beginnin' ta look like a golf course!"
... Dante retreats under the bench.
"Mebbe it's wun of dose TWISTAHS!"
"Mus' be a CATegory 5 -- I herd dey kin sound like 'afraid' train."
"Dis reely BLOWS!" exclaims Dante, shivering in fright.
"Pleez, pleez doan lets it carreh me away!"
Then as suddenly as it came ...
... so it went! And all was peaceful again.
The wind died down and Dante came out from under the bench.
Now Dante can relax -- until next week, that is ... when the garbage truck comes around again!
Oh no - tomorrow is the day for the garbage truck here and you've just reminded us. At least your peace has been restored now they've been and you can go back and admire your pretty garden.

Ah now you can relax and enjoy everything!
Goodness, Dante, you had our Mom laughing out loud. Glad your furs didn't blown far away. That darn garbage truck is so noisy. Your yard is just so pretty with all those flowers in their pots. If we lived there, we would sit in those pots.
You always look great Dante, even when you are wind blown!
Rumblemummy is hoping the wind blows you over here!!
Haaaa poor Dante! My Sheltie brother, Dakota is afraid of the garbage trucks too!
You have a LOVELY area to lie in! Have a great weekend!
I just hate getting my furs all blown!?!?! Thank goodness I stay indoors.
The most noise our garbage truck makes is the hairy slobbery sisters barking (the garbage lady gives them cookies)! You can hear where she is by all the dogs in the village greeting her when she gets to their house.
