DANTE IN PAW RELEAF!

I'm using a turn of phrase here for this foray into Dante art.  "Bas relief" (alternately called "low relief") is a type of sculptural art in which the subjects project slightly from the background.

When it comes to Dante, however, I thought that using "Paw Releaf" was a little more relevant.  After all he is sitting on a bed of leaves and periodically moving them around with his paws.

The picture frame, itself, actually appears to be a good example of "Bas Relief", while the main subject (my Dante) has been painted in "Paw Releaf".

Leaf it up to Dante to give you that feeling of relief  -- one way or another!
