WORDLESS WEDNESDAY WITH DANTE: KATRAOKE!

DANTE'S FALL PHOTO GALLERY

I was outside with Dante yesterday and this is the result.  It's been a while since I've had this many really good shots all at once.  The close-ups, featuring his very full mane, will speak for themselves. We don't call him 'King Dante' for nothing!

DANTE FILLS 'ER UP!

One thing about Dante is that he fills up any empty space with his enormous presence.  Here he is filling up his own PURRSonal space on the front porch chair to oFUR-flowing.

"Is impawsible fur me ta curl up in a liddle ball, so I doan even try", says Dante. 

 "I prefurs ta hang loose ...

" ... speshully wen I has a hangover!" says Dante as he hangs to the left ...

... and then hangs to the right for good measure! 

 "Dat's wun nice fing about haffin' yoor own PURRSonal space -- yoo kin make good use of efurry inch of it an' not feel like it's crampin' yoor style!"

It's clear that Dante hasn't overlooked a thing -- except purrhaps what's for dinner!

"Fill 'er up!!!"

DANTE ON 'HOW TO MAKE FURIENDS'!

Dante spends lots of time outdoors in the back yard.

 He has had plenty of time to observe efurrything around him.  And one thing he knows, for sure, is that if you want to make furiends ...

... you have to feed 'em.

Or at the very least, give them something to drink!

When the weather is nice, he likes to sleep out there for hours! 

 "I appreciates a bit 'o fresh air frum my NOSE ...

.... all da way to my TOES!!!"

DANTE'S BACK SIDE

Dante's out on the back deck with signs of fall all around him.  The last of the apples have fallen off the crabapple tree, along with some of its yellowed leaves.

The other sign of fall is Dante's mane.  Not only has it thickened up in the front, but it has also increased in volume on the back of his neck.

FUR comparison, here's a shot of Dante from the back just last April.  There's very little diffurence between the mane and the rest of Dante's coat from this PURRspective.

Just look at that voluptuous tufting!

It sure isn't 'tuft' to tell that winter isn't far off anymore!

DANTE: CHEWY!

Dante is constantly chewing on his front mane.  PURRhaps he is enjoying the remnants of his last meal, but whatever the reason, these tender tendrils of fur become twisted and clumped together.

 "Sumtimes wen I gets it stuck in my mouf, it chokes me."

 "Dat's da problem wen yoor fur is so chewy!" 

 "I jus' has dis basick instink ta eat it."

"It must be in my DNA."

"What duz yoo think Cousin Chewbacka?"

Dante BAMBOOzled!

 When Dante thinks long and hard, it kind of BAMBOOzles him and that's what leads him to his ultimate state of ZEN.
