EASY ON SUNDAY WITH DANTE: HELLO FURIENDS!

It's Sunday and Dante's relaxing on the back deck bench.  I told him I would be posting this picture today, so he raises his paw in greeting to all of his furiends out there.

"Hi efurrybody!  Hope you're haffin' an eezy Sundai like me.  I likes mai Sundai wif vanilla I-scream an' tuna joos.  Is weely eezy to make -- you jus' pores da joos ofur da I-scream an' puts a stwawberry on top!"

Dante's mama's mother would often repeat this phrase from her own childhood:  "You scream, I scream, We all scream for I scream!"  I guess it was some kind of joke from the 1930's or something.  Anyone else out there ever heard this before?

As an extra added bonus today, we have a brief video of Dante relaxing.  He has just finished having a bath:  DANTE RELAXED.

Do like Dante's doing, and give yourself a break today.  Happy Sunday!

DANTE THE "POOH"

We start off appropriately enough today, with Dante the "Pooh" living up to his name.  As I have said, Dante is virtually undaunted by his clothing, and goes right about his business (if you get my drift).

First you have to dig to get the "hole" experience.

It's something you have to feel very deeply to know when to stop.

Ah, relief at last!

Dante "pooh-poohs" the hood, but keeps on pooing.

Dante's such a good sport, he doesn't mind lamPOOning himself!

In fact, Dante really 'digs' it!

Here's Dante the "Pooh", post-poo, feeling much more at ease!

Who else but Dante could look so handsome in a 'Winnie the Pooh' outfit?

You must agree he looks regal even now.

Nothing can contain his Kingliness (or his mane)!

Dante Poohsitions himself so you can get a good look at Pooh's face.

Dante and Pooh make quite the double vision!

And in a final majestic pose, Dante the "Pooh" conquers what would be, for some, the ultimate humiliation.  It seems that Dante, with his legendary patience, can carry off just about anything.  Perhaps "Pooh" has been his crowning glory, after all!

THURSDAY IN THE GARDEN WITH DANTE: GUARDIAN SUPREME

Dante's in the front garden again today, taking his job as Garden Guardian very seriously.  Many of you have commented that Dante always seems to be on the alert.  He is, and for good reason.

Dante is a FSUO --  Furry Special Undercover Opurrator.

He's in a bush league all of his own.

He catmouflages himself as well as he can.

Although, sometimes he makes no effort to conceal himself.

So he can monitor the garden traffic and keep it safe from infiltrators.

Only those who know the secret PUSSword may pass.

"Dylan get back here!  You said the wrong pussword again!"

So, Dylan is benched while Dante takes a break.
Even a seasoned FSUO needs a little time off now and then.

This is thirsty work, you know!

But as fate would have it, there's no rest for the vigilant.

Now you know why Dante is ever alert.  You drop your guard for an instant and look what happens!  Needless to say, Dante vanquished the varmint.

Only after a hard day's work is finished, can Dante relax and have a snooze.
'Cause we all know, if you snooze you lose, and Dante is one who never likes to lose.

Thanks to Dante the garden is safe for another day.  In his line of business, you takes it one day at a time.

EASY ON SUNDAY WITH DANTE: PATIENCE AND IMPATIENCE

Dante's in the front garden just relaxing beside the pot of double impatience.  I don't know why they call them "double" except maybe they're twice as impatient as regular impatience.

If they want a lesson in patience, all they have to do is follow Dante's example.  He is a very patient pussycat; he is certainly the most patient of my 3-Ds.  He doesn't fuss when I put him in clothes, and he doesn't mind if he wears them all day.

Dante also puts up with his leash and is very patient if he happens to get tangled.  He just sits there until someone notices and comes to untangle him.

Anyway, you get the idea.  And so should those impatience.  Just relax and go with the flow.

Have a good Sunday efurryone!
