And finally, we have caught up to the present. Here is Dante this winter just past. His red coat certainly pops against the white snow. He's a real standout in any season!
Dante likes to dig in the snow, and even uses it as an outdoor litter box in the winter months. You will see a number of pictures of him "doing his business" ever so elegantly while sitting in a snowbank! Of course, once the snow melted, I was left with not-so-little presents to clean up.
Again, Dante purrdicted the change of seasons, as his coat visibly thinned out beginning in early February. His enormous winter ruff was replaced by a smaller version. Dante's fur barometer was right on, as spring made an early appearance in mid-March.

Dante is one of the most magnificent Maine Coons I have eFUR seen to date... and I have seen PLENTY!

These are such great shots..the windswept look is especially fetching, and I too like the shot of Dante doing his "peeping Tom" routine. He's such a gorgeous boy, it would be hard to take a bad picture of this handsome hunk of kitteh!
Dante is a very handsome cat! We didn't even notice he was 'doing his business until after we read the post. Very elegant
